Dear Senior Pastor,
In the sweet name of Jesus, greetings from the F.A.I.T.H. Riders Board of Directors! There is nothing more fulfilling than serving the King of kings and Lord of lords, every day of our lives. In 2002 when our Lord led Buddy and Michele Newsome to start F.A.I.T.H. Riders they never dreamed God would impact so many people in and through this motorcycle ministry! You are supporting a ministry that is reaching a dark part of our world that few consider. May we say...THANK YOU!
On January 1, 2024, a new era began for this ministry. With the sudden and tragic death of our National Director, Mike Stewart, we unanimously selected Phillip Cook of Enon Baptist Church in Montevallo, Alabama as our new National Director. The Board of Directors and Phillip now seek to posture the ministry for continued success. This letter is part of this effort. We are reaching out to all our host church pastors seeking to confirm their commitment to, and support of, the F.A.I.T.H. Riders ministry.
Over the past 22 years we've seen God bless our efforts to share the gospel by expanding our presence and strengthening our influence. He's empowered us to:
intentionally share the gospel with over 110 thousand people at multiple rally locations--over 14 thousand people made professions of faith!
partner with the Southern Baptist Convention staff in supporting annual convention logistics and increasing ministry awareness among pastors.
lock arms with several Baptist State Evangelism offices and local associations promoting the spread of the gospel and garnering support for ministry events.
catalyze evangelism and discipleship fervor in 100s of host church congregations!
train an army of gospel-sharing. disciple-making witnesses eager to help introduce people to Jesus--we had 240 volunteers at Daytona Bike Week 2024!
commission our 404th chapter and set our sights on establishing chapters in all 50 states and strategically expanding our presence at other rallies throughout the US!
F.A.I.T.H. Riders leaders are preparing this ministry to continue to grow God's kingdom, but we need your help! We recognize that many chapters are already doing incredible ministry and are involved in their state and national F.A.I.T.H. Riders events. To host churches supporting these chapters we say God bless you and thank you! Other host churches and chapters have encountered challenges that have limited their ability to engage the lost. One thing we all have in common - we can do better! Our theme this year is, "One More in '24!" This translates to one more soul saved, one more evangelistic event executed, one more prayer offered, one more 3-minute testimony shared, etc. We hope your church supports your chapter as it accepts this
challenge!We also ask that you renew your commitment to host, pray for, spiritually develop, and fiscally and physically support your F.A.I.T.H. Riders Chapter and its efforts to fulfill the Great Commission. Please review the Host Church Commitment Statement enclosed, consider the commitments we are asking you to make, and then date and sign the document signifying your commitment decision. (We've sent a Director Commitment Statement to your Chapter Director for their consideration and signature as well.) Please mail your commitment statement within 14 days of receipt to:
